I literally hugged this book when I finished it, because it’s pretty close to perfection. It thought it was so sweet, adorable and uplifting (all things we need right now). Then one week later my library closed and I had an entirely new appreciation for this book, for my library, and for what it stands for. This is the perfect book for book lovers (and library lovers!) I ended up having to buy myself a copy after returning my borrowed one to the library.
I actually grew up without access to a public library even though I had one about 2 miles away (weird town lines issue). Because I didn’t grow up being able to use one, I didn’t realize till I was older how amazing they are!! I was a kid that LOVED to read and I wish I’d had that kind of reading community growing up. Now, as an adult, I’m just so grateful for our libraries.
